Project Overview
The Wayne Hollomon Price Foundation website was redesigned to create a more engaging and accessible online presence for the organization. Built in WordPress using the Salient theme, the refreshed website features an updated visual design, improved navigation, and enhanced content presentation that better highlights the Foundation’s mission, leadership, scholarship programs, and community impact.
Challenge
The Foundation’s previous website had become dated and no longer reflected the organization’s identity. While much of the existing content remained relevant, the site needed a refreshed look and improved organization to make information easier to access. Key enhancements included redesigning the Board of Directors page with professional headshots and biographies, streamlining the Grants section by highlighting the five most recent years, and creating a dedicated archive for older grant awards that remains easily accessible from the homepage.
Solution
I designed and developed a fully responsive WordPress website that modernized the Foundation’s online presence while preserving its existing content. The redesign introduced a cleaner visual style, simplified navigation, improved visual hierarchy, and a more intuitive content structure. These enhancements make it easier for visitors to learn about the Foundation’s leadership, scholarships, grants, and philanthropic initiatives while providing administrators with a flexible platform for future updates.
Results
The redesigned website provides the Wayne Hollomon Price Foundation with a polished digital presence that better reflects its mission and community impact. Improved navigation, responsive layouts, and a scalable WordPress platform make information easier to find while simplifying ongoing content management and creating a better experience for prospective scholarship recipients, donors, board members, and community partners.
