Galensina Pharma Services Logo

Project Overview

Galensina Pharma Services needed a complete visual identity for a new pharmaceutical consulting company. Starting with only a company name, a written creative brief, and several visual references, I designed an original logo that combines elements of medicine, science, and healing into a clean, modern mark. The identity became the foundation for the company’s website and marketing materials.

Challenge

The client wanted a logo that reflected the history behind the Galensina name while incorporating symbolism inspired by the Healing Simurgh, an ancient mythical bird associated with healing and wisdom. The challenge was creating a mark that balanced those ideas with a contemporary pharmaceutical aesthetic, without becoming overly detailed or relying on generic medical imagery.

Solution

After exploring multiple concepts, I developed an abstract symbol that merges three distinct ideas into a single cohesive mark. The overall form references the Healing Simurgh through stylized wings, the flowing center creates the impression of a DNA double helix, and the composition subtly evokes the caduceus, reinforcing the company’s focus on medicine and healthcare. A blue color palette conveys trust, professionalism, and scientific credibility, while a red accent provides visual focus and energy.

Results

The finished logo gave Galensina Pharma Services a distinctive identity that communicates healthcare and innovation without relying on cliché symbols. The owner particularly appreciated that the final mark also resembled the First Sergeant insignia from his Army service, giving the logo an unexpected personal meaning alongside its intended symbolism. The identity continues to serve as the cornerstone of the company’s branding across its website and marketing materials.
